Representatives of the Military Academy "General Mihailo Apostolski" Skopje on 07 and 08.06.2022 presented the results of the project PREvention of DIsasters ICT (Informatic and Computer Technology) from the ERASMUS + program which is realized in the Consortium with: Main Directorate of Fire Safety and Protection of the Population, Bulgaria; Association of IT Solutions for All, Spain; DUKOR "Partenija Zografski" and primary school „Steve Naumov“ Skopje. The project was presented to the teachers in the primary school "Sande Sterjoski" in Kichevo and the primary school "St. Kliment Ohridski" in Makedonski Brod.
The purpose of the activity was:
1. To train the teaching staff responsible for getting acquainted with natural disasters (earthquakes, floods and fires) as well as training on how to act in case of occurrence of these disasters in the use of materials prepared within the project.
2. To exchange opinions and experiences on how to improve the training of children for action in case of natural disasters (fires, floods and earthquakes).
The materials enable within one lesson the children to get acquainted with one of the natural disasters and to realize their training on how to act properly in case of a natural disaster. Having in mind the inclusiveness in the education system, all materials are made and tested to be understandable and used for people with impaired vision and hearing and are available free of charge to all useful.
